Having a little fun with yet another color challenge :) This one is an older one so the challenge is "technically" closed but the colors were good so I wanted to give it a try. I think these colors would be great as they could go either way....they're pretty enough for a feminine card but yet not too pretty for a masculine card. But I would probably have to give this card to a little boy rather than a grown man.....even though that bow and the scallops kind of throw it over to the feminine spectrum huh? I used some rich razzleberry polka dot paper to make this little guys shirt-cute right?
Materials used: dragon (stampavie); old olive, rich razzleberry, temping turquoise cs (SU); stamper's select white (PTI); tuxedo black (memento); copics; crystal effects; scallop edge, word window punches (SU); old olive ribbon (SU); white gel pen (SU); rhinestones (SU)
I've got my hostess club tonight! I am looking forward to getting together with "my" ladies, it's been far too long since I've seen them! I think I may have even settled on what projects we are making tonight.....in fact I cut 300 top note dies last night for our little project. Wonder what I could be making with *all* of those?!!?!?!?! Hmmm, I wonder........ :)
Got a lot going on this weekend. We're celebrating my niece's 10th birthday tomorrow night and on Sunday I am *finally* going to get my first tattoo!!!! I have wanted one for YEARS and just never had the courage....but I decided that for my 35th birthday (last November) I had waited long enough. But then it took a while to track down my artist, she travels a lot for her trade (and is AWESOME at what she does). She did the most amazing Disney tattoo on my husband's leg and there is no way I would have any one else work on me :) Can't WAIT!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you have a wonderful weekend :) See you on Sunday with another Simple Sunday card!
