I hope that you had a wonderful weekend!!! Yesterday the kids and I took my husband out to one of his favorite restaurants for Father's Day dinner. It was a really nice day :) Elizabeth was super excited to give her daddy the very special gift she picked out for him. My husband loves to play all the rock band/guitar hero games. When I asked Elizabeth what she wanted to get Daddy for his present she decided she wanted to get him a guitar shirt. Well by the power of Google we found a "real" guitar shirt.....this baby came with an amp and actually is a playable shirt! She was SO eager to give it to him and of course he loved it :) She also made him this gorgeous card! She did it all by herself too!!! The only thing I did was cut the paper and the strip of ribbon, otherwise she did it all herself. Gotta love that the little girl on the swing (who is Elizabeth by the way *wink*) has a brilliant blue face :)
"Alex" made him a card too......with a *little* help from me :) He of course wanted to keep
it pretty basic, since he is *only* nine months old ya know. No stamps just big shot dies. Elizabeth told him he should use some hearts but he was pretty set on putting stars on the card. Not sure if you can tell from the picture but the top note die is textured using one of the SU texture plates. I love the subtle texture it gives. Daddy was pretty impressed by Alex's craft ability too *wink*
Things are starting to wrap up for us this week for the summer. Elizabeth's dance recital is on Sunday so this week is c-razy with dance practices getting ready for the big day. But then once Sunday is over we can relax for the summer until things start up again in September. I'm looking forward to having some fun time with my little lady. During the school year there are days I feel we are SO busy we don't get
to spend "enough" time together. It's crazy! So I'm really looking to just spending some fun quality time....remind me of this at the end of the summer 'k?
I want to thank you for stopping by today! I hope that you have a wonderful day today :)
