Whew...sorry this is so late!! I normally do my posts the night before but last night I was at a wedding and was SO tired when I got home that I just couldn't get on the computer. Today we spent the entire day outside enjoying the gorgeous weather that we were blessed with....so I'm just getting to this now.
This card is certainly simple but it is definitely not quick! I got the idea from a fellow demo on SCS and just had to give this one a whirl. The pink pirouette paper is embossed using the manhattan flower embossing folder. Then the entire image is filled in with a layer of crystal effects then while still wet I sprinkled some glitter over the entire card. It took a while to dry......like a LONG time but it is really pretty don't you think?? Then once dry I just adhered it to a soft suede base and wrapped a bit of soft suede polka dot ribbon around the entire card. Ta-da!!!! Simple yet SOOOOOO pretty!!!
I hope that you have a wonderful holiday weekend :) My hubby is off the ENTIRE weekend so we are enjoying our time together. We set up the little kiddie pool for the kids today and let them splash the day away. Who knows maybe we'll even do the same thing tomorrow *wink* As always thanks for stopping by today!!!
