This year for her 4th birthday Elizabeth had her birthday party at Build a Bear. We had gone a few months ago with a friend and she had so much fun there I thought it would make for a fun party....and then add in the adorable BAB stamps from SU and I *had* to have the party there :) Elizabeth helped me pick out the paper for her bear's dress and she picked out the color for the card base (and I knew it would be a shade of red since that's her favorite color!). I have to admit I was happy when she picked out riding hood red and not real red, it's was so much easier for me to combine with the pink on the dress *wink* I used SC252 for this card, I just flipped it. It's an easy sketch and that's perfect for mass production cards. I paired the riding hood red with some soft sky and chocolate chip paper-love the way they look together. I didn't add to many embelishments, ok I didn't add any, because well lets face it-3 and 4 year olds don't really care about embelishments *wink* There is some sparkle on her flower and her shoes are covered with a clear coating of glitter pen.
Elizabeth was very happy with the way the cards came out. She helped me emboss all the backgrounds in the big shot (she LOVES my big shot) and then she helped me put them all in the envelopes for her friends. Who knows maybe next year I'll have *her* make the cards :)
